Check-in:    
 

Please check-in with camp staff upon arrival.

Pay entire balance of bill and show proof of insurance before your event begins

Provide names of all campers, counselors, and staff.

Provide a written schedule for your group.

Special Note: Your group cannot begin to use the facilities until these check in functions are done.

While at Camp:

Your group is responsible for any lost or damaged camp property during your stay.

Use of Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs is not permitted on camp property.

Smoking is not permited on camp property.

No pets and no glass containers.

Injuries:

Camp Joy is in a 911 area.  There is a fire station within one mile of the camp entrance,

and a hospital emergency room with in 7 miles of the camp.  

Insurance claims should be first filed with the individual's policy, and/or your group's policy.

In the Buildings:

Do not cook and /or eat  in dorms or cabins.

Do not move equipment (or bunks) from one building to another without persmission.

Do not move bunks together.

Thermostats are preset, please do not adjust.

You must provide your own linens; for bed and bath.

Please leave the rooms as you found them, orderly and clean.

If camp is not left as you found it you will lose your security deposit!!

Camp Fires:

All fires are to be in designated areas. (No Gasoline!!)

Orange county fire department will determine if fires are allowed.

Do not leave any fire unattended!!

Meal Time:

All groups will have same meal times.

Breakfast is at 8am

Lunch is at Noon

Dinner is at 5pm

Please: Take out trash to dumpster (PLEASE LOCK THE DUMPSTER!)
wipe off tables; straighten chairs.

At your last meal time pleaseput chairs away.

Trash:

All trash must be removed from receptacles around the camp and transported to dumpster.

Communications:

Incoming messages may be emailed to campjoy@goba.org

and will be posted in the dining hall during meals or send  you may also send mail to campers

Miscellaneous: 

 
Soda and Snacks available in vending machines 24 hours per day.
No food or beverages in the pool area.

Please be mindful of other groups at the camp.

If other groups are present Quiet time is Midnight till 7:00am

If an outsider is around your group please report them to the Camp Director.
