We're offering more!

 We're becoming more than a campground!  Camp Joy is now offers full-service Refuel Retreats where we will do EVERYTHING for you.  We will bring in the sound, lights, worship band, drama team, and the speaker.  We'll plan the games and run the activities.  You just bring your teens and chaperones!  2-Day Retreats are $32 and 3 day retreats are $70 including the food and lodging! 

Our Story

For over 50 years, Camp Joy has been a ministry of Greater Orlando Baptist Association.  Camp Joy has been a place where generations of children and youth have come to meet Jesus, be baptized, and called into the ministry.  Although God has mightily used Camp Joy as a campground, we feel that he has called us to be more.   

                 Through our partnership with Mud Ministry (www.MudMinistry.com) we are becoming more than just a campground.  We are more than just a bunch of buildings that churches rent out for a weekend.  We are now providing assistance to pastors and youth pastors as they plan their events.  You can come to Camp Joy and have your retreat planned and run for you, you can do everything yourself, or have anything in between.  We can now supply you with drama teams, worship bands, speakers, and AV equipment.  We provide game and scheduling ideas, brochures for your event, and a video server chocked full of both funny and ministry videos.  You can bring your group out to Camp Joy for paintball or try to tackle our team building ropes course at a cost much less than the world charges. 

                We are not the same old Camp Joy.  Our passion for Christ remains, but our ministry is expanding.  We are in year 2 of a 3 year renovation program.  The campus has WiFi and the buildings are being modernized.  You can even take local and international mission trips through the camp!  So, we encourage you to check out Camp Joy as we minister to GOBA and the World.
